Cathryn
Lankford Crosland, M.D.
Dr. Cathryn Crosland is the newest addition
to our practice, serving patients in our Cornelius office. Growing
up in Kentucky, Dr. Crosland looked up to her mother who was a
Med-Tech. This inspired her to enter the medical field first as
a researcher and then as a physician. She found her niche in a
field that was primarily male, but serving women’s health. Her philosophy was and continues to be simple,
treat each patient like an individual and meet the special needs
of today’s women.
Dr. Crosland received a bachelor’s
degree in medical technology from the University of Kentucky. She
worked as a Clinical Chemist at the UK Medical Center for one year
before attending medical school there. She completed her internship
and residency at Carolinas Medical Center. She was a physician/partner
in another local OB/GYN practice for 20 years before joining Randolph
OB/GYN in April of 2009. Dr. Crosland is certified by the American
Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her spare time she enjoys
Pilates, cooking and travel. Dr. Crosland lives in Davidson and
is the mother of teenage twins. |
