Janice
S. Naumann, M.D.
Inspired by her tenth grade biology teacher, Dr.
Naumann first expressed interest in pursuing medicine as a career
at the age of 15. After being named Salutatorian of her class at
The Bolles School, Dr. Naumann went on to Vanderbilt University where
she graduate cum laude in 1984. She entered medical school at University
of Miami and during her time there was named Vice President of her
sophomore class, Vice President of Student Council and was a member
of Iron Arrow Honor Society. She went on to complete her residency
at University of Alabama where she received an Academic Award for
Excellence, and then began practicing in 1992.
Dr. Naumann's primary focus has always been on the patient first.
She believes that what is going on in her patient's life is just
as important as the medical approach.
Dr. Naumann has been a resident of the Charlotte area for more than
ten years and is married with two children. In her spare time, she
enjoys reading, keeping up with her children's activities, and is
a ballet enthusiast. |
